A safety consulting firm. Nothing else.
Apex Site Safety contracts directly with owners, developers, and general contractors to serve as the safety consultant of record on their projects. We build the safety program, staff it with our own W-2 employees, supervise their work through Apex safety leadership, and answer for the results. We are not a staffing agency, a temporary labor service, an employee leasing company, or a labor broker.

What our employees do. And what they never do.
Apex Site Safety is a professional safety consulting firm. Our employees are credentialed safety professionals. They observe, inspect, document, train, and advise.
What Apex employees do
- Survey and walk active job sites in required PPE to observe conditions and work practices
- Document findings, take photographs, and issue written inspection and audit reports
- Deliver site orientations, toolbox talks, competent person training, and task-specific instruction
- Write site-specific safety plans, job hazard analyses, and regulatory documentation
- Investigate incidents and near misses, determine root cause, and track corrective actions to closure
- Advise client supervision on hazard correction and regulatory compliance
- Exercise stop-work authority granted under the Apex contract, directing others to cease an unsafe activity, never performing the work themselves
What Apex employees never do
- No construction work of any kind
- No use of hand tools, power tools, or heavy equipment
- No installation, erection, welding, rigging, electrical, or mechanical work
- No material handling, demolition, or physical labor
- No operation of vehicles or machinery in the work area
- No supervision of trade crews or direction of construction means and methods
Employment and classification
- Every Apex safety professional is a W-2 employee of Apex Site Safety. Apex hires, pays, trains, directs, evaluates, and terminates its own employees.
- Apex employees report to Apex safety leadership, not to the client, the general contractor, or the site.
- Apex carries its own general liability, professional liability, and workers' compensation coverage for its employees. Clients are never added to Apex payroll and Apex employees are never added to a client's payroll.
- Apex holds a consulting services contract with each client and is responsible for the deliverables under it.
- Apex is not a staffing agency, temporary labor service, employee leasing company, PEO, labor broker, or job board. Apex does not place, lease, broker, or subcontract personnel to any other employer.
- Apex charges no fee to applicants or employees at any time.
- Apex verifies every certification and license directly with the issuing body before an employee is assigned to a contract.
